We photographed the 2026 Staffordshire Fostering Star Awards for Staffordshire County Council's fostering service, the night that recognises the county's foster carers across categories like Rising Star, Unsung Hero and Inspirational Special Guardian.

We have covered the service's celebrations since 2023, from the Long Service Awards to the annual Star Awards. The brief stays the same each year: document the night honestly, turn images around quickly for the council's comms team, and stay unobtrusive around carers and their families.

It is event photography that has to work for a public sector team. Clean, fast, and shot with care for who is in the room.
